After my little one got his teeth checked up, the doctor informed me of a cavity that was beginning to form in one of his molars. Initially, this came as a shock to me, but it all started to fall in place soon- I had paid little attention to his dental health, he therefore had developed dental issues.The doctor also told me that I was not alone in this regard- so many parents are unaware of the dental health issues faced by their children, due to lack of awareness. A survey by Colgate has reported that every 1 in 4 kids in Delhi have cavities

    The doctor then told us to take some precautionary measures, in order to prevent the cavity from worsening, and to take better care of my son’s dental health:

    -Brushing twice a day in order to keep plaque cavities at bay.

    -Flossing daily is as important as brushing.

    -The gums and tongue are equally important, and could weigh down oral hygiene if not tended to.

    -Proper nutrition through a healthy diet and regular dental check-ups are key to dental health and thereby, over- all health.

    I was also given 5 Colgate dental cards to share with my friends and family, which entitles to a free dental check-up. Out of the 5 who got their kids checked-up, 3 of them learnt of their kids’ having cavities. This was truly disheartening. The state of dental health in our country is in a pretty bad shape.

    And the #ShareTheLoad challenge in association with Blogadda and Ariel is coming to an end and I am so excited to see my journey so far.

    The last part of the campaign was to see how many clothes my son can fold in 30 seconds and I let him be himself and enjoy the moment as he was super excited to do it.

    So, Alexa comes to rescue for setting the timer and letting us know when 30secs are over with an alarm. It was an fun experience and great to see my 5 year old, folding 3 of his shorts in 30secs. To be fair to him, I gave him his small clothes to fold.

    He is slow and not that clean but his enthusiasm is worth appreciating. He did his bit at his best. The little man love to help me in every aspect of my work, trust me he even help me when I write post this by saying “Mummy, do write Nayan loves helping mummy”

    I never realised my little kiddo is a big boy and a great helping hand, until I participated in this campaign. And he concluded the challenge by saying “Mummy, we will do this challenge again”

    The four amazing challenges do make my son more capable of sharing the load, and know his own capabilities better. And now he is more helpful than ever and want to try many new things at home to help me better.

    From SON-Day to ShareTheLoad, my little kiddo has transformed to a helping hand, I can rely on and all thanks to Ariel and blogadda for this initiative.

    With changing time and developing sense of responsibility, sharing load with the opposite gender is a part of every family.     Three weeks back, I was talking with my hubby about “Sunday Nahi “Sonday”” Initiative by ariel when my little love overheard us and show interest towards the same. And after that every sunday he asked about whats the activity for today and than suddenly, comes up with a new idea to perform the same.

    He successfully helped me in doing laundry and folding the laundry, but today the task was helping in kitchen or washing utensils and the little one was in loads of doubt and was try to figure out something whole morning.

    And than suddenly in Afternoon, he went to the bathroom, got the stool, put it in front of kitchen sink and climbed it..

    Than He Shouted,

    Mummy, look I can reach the sink, it means I can help you in Kitchen now. *His eyes were shining with happiness*

    Than after thinking for about 10minutes, he said, mummy I can help you by cleaning my lunchbox and waterbottle and I happily smiled and said. Ofcourse you can my kiddo.

    He started washing his water bottle first and even asked for the brush to clean it from inside. His efforts was precious and he gave his 100%

    Than he moved on to his lunchboxes and that was indeed a task for him, as he carries two infact 3 boxes to school but he did that too and he cleaned them from the scratch, that include throwing left overs in trashcan, soaking, applying soap, and rinsing properly.

    And with this, my son took over the task of washing utensils and helped me in cleaning my kitchen.

    I am doing my best in teaching my son the best in every possible way and he is one amazing child who just love doing chores with mumma for mumma.

    It feels great to see my son putting in all the efforts to #ShareTheLoad and letting me enjoy another SON-Day

    Keeping the little souls busy is very tough,
    They always want something new to explore,

    Physical Activities Are Important Even More.

    Keeping the little ones busy is quite a task,
    How? Is the question every mom ask,
    So Let me introduce to you all to a place,
    With a amazing friend from space,
    He is green, he wears yellow,
    And trust me he is a jolly good fellow,

    His name is Tinga,
    He is the mascot of a all the fun and adventure,
    You can meet him in his fun activity zone – Tingaland.

    Recently I visited Tingaland in Noida an amazing play area for kids age 1- 10 years. A soft play area with lots of activity zone and a creative zone for little toddlers. This place is a bliss for every kid. This beautifully designed place keep the little minds busy in a constructive way. Tingaland has for amazing zones for the little ones.

    And a beautiful Parents Lounge, where we parents can relax and chill while the little ones enjoy in the playzone under the supervision of amazingly trained staff.

    All About Tingaland
    Tingaland is soft play zone for little ones. The zone is divided into 2 parts according to age. One exclusively for the toddlers aged 1 to 4, and the other for the age of 4 to 10.

    Tingaland is located in the Starling Mall, Sector 104 of Noida.

    Tinga Art And Craft Zone
    Tingaland has an amazing craft center where kids give wings to creativity and let them indulge in art and craft section. drawing, coloring, origami and mych more.

    Tinga Wall Climbing
    Wall climbing goes up to 15 meters height. All the safety gears are provided by the well trained and very courteous staff. The wall climbing zone gives an confidence to the little one and its a fun activity.

    Tinga Play Zone
    The place zone is divided into two parts, one for toddlers with low height swings and soft rides for little one and fun activities like active sand and much more.

    Other zone is for kids aged 4-10 with loads of adventurous tracks to climb and slides to fun. Ball gun, swings and much more.

    Tinga Cafe
    Not to forget about the amazing food zone thats beautifully decorated and they serves yummilcious food. Pizza, momos, sandwiches, mojito are the few we ordered and relished. Special mention to most refreshing coffee served and the scrumptious dessert brownie with icecream.

    A perfect place where we can relax and chill while keeping an eye on their kids in the playzone. We can relax because of the amazing and very supportive and well trained staff.

    It was Sunday and I had a pile of clothes to fold, When we decided to teach our little one another way to #ShareTheLoad.

    And before we can say something, the little hands extend, And without a delay things started to bend.

    He grabbed all his clothes and took a leap, mommy let me fold my clothes, he speak..

    Little did I knew is my little love grew, And I realized 5 years just flew.

    #ShareTheLoad

    I never knew that being a part of #ShareTheLoad initiative will help me make my son learn a few things that I would have never thought of. I always believe in gender equality but I felt my son is pretty young for learning tasks at home but with the amazing initiative by Ariel, I understand, its never too early nor too late.

    My 5 years old Nayan,wants to help me in every single thing and I always avoid, thinking he is too small to do all this but the amazing initiative by Ariel, made me realise that my little sonny has grown up and the littles hands are biggest support now.

    This sunday while Celebrating ‘SON-Day’ , I wanted my son to help me fix the wardrobe but he is too small to pick up the clothes and put in, so the little task he got was folding his own clothes. So, when I told him that he need to help me with my task, his little eyes twinkled and his happiness is at peak.

    And,

    He Asked, .ommy what should I do?

    Me, Can you help me in folding clothes?

    He, Yes and quickly grabbed all his clothes from the pile of washed clothes.

    So Many Clothes.

    And he was all set to fold his clothes with my instructions. (He is a great listener and follow instructions perfectly)

    First, he started with Tshirts and folded and bundled them together.

    And then he stacked all tshirts and moved to shorts n pants. He was enjoying the moment and was happily engrossed in the work he is doing.

    After finishing the folding task, he was super happy seeing his bundle of clothes.

    And we are happy that our little love is learning how to share the load. Mommy in me always feel amazing to celebrate SON-Day, exclusively for me with my son.
