Book’s Epigram & My Critique:If you are
seeking any advice, in Finance, Investment, Sensex, Entrepreneurship or any related
topic, then the answer is, read the book ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ written by Robert T. Kiyosaki. All you need to do
is read this from beginning till end. The author has shared his experience and
valuable outcomes through nine chapters. The author has not addressed any core
finance topic but given examples and experiences from his life to help us
better understanding the subject. Author has introduced two father figure
persons in this book, one is his own father whom he addressed as Poor Dad, a
very talented and educated person who is busy with his job and every month
focuses on his bills and expenses that he has to make. On the other hand one of
author’s friend’s father whom he has addressed as his second Rich Dad, has a
very different opinion and understanding about all this. How middle class
people think about money and don’t differentiate between asset and liabilities
while spending money is discussed well in the book. There is no hard and core
tips that author talks about but shares his experience and sets you free to
take your own decisions based on the situation you may encounter in your life.

The author
defines wealth very nicely that most of us are not aware of. How can we turn
the odd environment in our favor by investing on time, importance of becoming
aware of our surroundings when we make any investment decisions, are well
defined. With this the author has also focused on the learning and growing of our
intellectual skills by reading books, attending seminars, meeting successful
people, sharing own experience and knowledge with others etc.. There are so
many example author has mentioned throughout the book, for example one should
focus on various fields in the life rather than mastering in one, so that you
have an understanding what’s going on in your surroundings whenever you get a
chance to interact with. It doesn’t mean that you should master every field but
have sufficient knowledge to deal with, if any situation arises.

This is first
time I purchased any finance book for reading purpose and my experience was
awesome. Through this book, Robert T. Kiyosaki, gives lots of learning to the
beginners and illustrates multiple examples meritoriously. This book is a must
read for those who are not satisfied with their conservative financial methods
and want to be rich and wealthy in their life. By reading this book, they can understand
the hurdles that are stopping them to achieve their wealthy destiny and fill themselves
with the positivity. Finally I would like to mention few of my favorite quotes
